Here’s a general guide on how to do this:
- Open Gmail: Open the Gmail app on your Android device.
- Create a New Email: Tap on the “Compose” button to create a new email.
- Access Voice Typing: While composing your email, look for the microphone icon on your keyboard. This icon may vary depending on your keyboard app.
- Start Dictating: Tap the microphone icon to start voice typing. Speak clearly, and your spoken words will be converted into text.
- Review and Edit: After you finish dictating, review the transcribed text. Voice recognition may not be perfect, so make any necessary corrections.
- Copy the Text: Once you’re satisfied with the transcribed text, long-press to select it, and then choose “Copy” from the menu.
- Paste into Gmail: Go back to the Gmail app, tap on the email body, and choose “Paste” to insert the text.
- Complete the Email: Add any additional details, recipients, subject, or formatting as needed. Once you’re done, you can send the email as usual.
